A blog about anything random that I feel. To me, blogs are anything positive, negative and makes you feel something. If I see something, if I feel something, I will make it my own and create a blog. My goal is not to have followers but to find myself as I write these.

"Double Life"
I saw "Inception" with Leo Dicaprio this past weekend and let me tell you, if you haven't seen it, you absolutely have to! It was such a good movie and Leo was great as always. It made me wonder though about life in general. I used to always think about this but after seeing the movie, how many of yall think that the life we are living is in fact a dream and our dreams are our reality? I don't know about all of you, but I have some really vivid dreams and I feel like I am really living that life when I'm dreaming. Kind of intense sometimes because I feel like the same people exist in both and then you lose sense of what is real and what is fake? Dreams are supposed to be our subconscious, what we think about and how our minds work and that portrayal is seen as dreams are intensified during our sleep. Kinda scary that dreams can be so intensive.

I love this movie! I'm a huge fan of what Leo DiCapo's been doing as well as Joseph Gordon Levitt. And I thought this same thing after I watched the movie...I looked around and felt so weird! What if this isn't reality? It really freaked me out actually. Great great great great great movie.
ReplyDeleteI loved this movie too!
ReplyDeleteWhile I was watching it, I was so glad that I took the course "Dreams and Dreaming." We looked at the science behind dreams, different cultures' beliefs in dreams, and why those dreams *are* so vivid. If you're at all interested in the subject I HIGHLY recommend it.
This dream vs. reality theme makes me think of Matrix that I saw recently and didn't like. It wasn't so much about dreams as it was about who creates reality and who controls it. lots of twists about reality but a violent sci fi. Would like to see Inception.
